Futures Unlimited is a not-for-profit organization supporting adults with disabilities and young children and families living in Sumner County. Adult Services
Direct Support Professional:
Direct Support Professional:
Full and part time positions available in residential services.Duties include meal preparation, general cleaning, providing assistance with personal hygiene tasks and recreation/leisure activities. Working hours include early morning, evening, weekend, holidays and overnights. Valid drivers license and high school diploma/GED required. Starting wage is $8.20 per hour.
Part time position (15 hours per week) responsible for the supervision and oversight of the cleaning crew at TECT. The right candidate must have good communication and organizational skills, be a self-starter and detail oriented. Valid drivers license and high school diploma/GED required. Starting wage is $7.90 per hour.
Children's Services
Bus Aide:
Part time position (approximately 8 hours per week)providing supervision to preschool age children riding transportation in the South Haven area. High school diploma/GED required. Starting wage is $7.25 per hour.
Classroom Teacher :
Full day position teaching preschool age children for the 2008-09 school year. Duties include developing lesson plans and learning activities utilizing the Creative Curriculum and Head Start Performance Standards. This position will be responsible for the daily supervision of the classroom paraprofessionals. Preference will be give to applicants with Early Childhood experience. Current teaching license required. Salary commensurate with experience.
Educational Support:
Full day position in Conway Springs for the 2008-09 school year. Duties include assisting children ages 3-5 years with learning activities, meals, snacks, and outdoor play. High school diploma/GED required. Starting wage is $7.25 per hour.
